Youth Registration
We at Pack 516 are happy to now offer our Cub Scout program to female and male youth grades Kindergarten thru 5th. Cub Scouts isn’t just for boys anymore, turns out Girls like doing this stuff too!
Each youth needs a uniform (purchased at the Loveland Scout Store), a Den book (used books may be supplied by the Pack if available) and a parent for all activities.
Youth registration/dues are $225 annually and collected in the Fall.
Our Dens
Youth are grouped together in similar school grades to make up six (6) 'Dens'.
Kindergarten - Lion Den
1st grade - Tiger Den
2nd grade - Wolf Den
3rd grade - Bear Den
4th grade - Webelos Den
5th grade - Arrow of Light Den
Each Den meets independently 1-2 times a month through the school year and has volunteer Den Leaders (one or more parents) who organize the activities that follow the requirements in their respective Den book. Youth work through their Den book during the school year and 'Advance' to the next Den in the Spring. Most Den activities are organized via Email or a software program called ScoutBook (there's also an App).
Our Pack
All the 'Dens' combined together make up the 'Pack'. Our Pack meets as a big group once a month through the school year for fun activities, advancement recognition and service projects. Pack activities are organized by the Cubmaster via ScoutBook. Pack activities are definitely family oriented with parents and siblings encouraged to attend.
We also go Camping, race Pinewood Derby Cars and race Rain Gutter Regatta Boats, so come join in on the fun!
